RADR 2301 - Intermediate RadiographicProcedures

A continuation of the study of the proper manipulation of radiographic equipment, positioning and alignment of the anatomical structure and equipment, and evaluation of images for proper demonstration of anatomy. The areas to be presented include the chest, bony thorax, abdomen, spine, routine contrast media procedures, trauma radiography, and radiographic foreign body localization. Also includes review of upper and lower extremity radiography, topographic anatomy, and routine diagnostic positioning. Lab fee required. 1. Manipulate equipment.
2. Perform intermediate level procedures in positioning.
3. Align anatomic structures and equipment.
4. Evaluate images. 1,2,4,5

Requisite(s): Take RADR 1266  and RADR 2309  
Corequisite(s): RADR 1266, RADR 1203, and RADR 2309.
