A laboratory course that illustrates and reinforces principles and concepts of CHEM 2323 . The course is designed to concentrate on the techniques of preparing organic compounds separation purification and identifying the prepared compound. Some of the techniques include melting points recrystallization extraction distillation and interpretation of IR NMR and chromatography spectra.
