A study of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and its application to singing in English Italian German and French. Students will identify IPA symbols and their sounds accurately reproduce sounds associated with IPA symbols transcribe texts with appropriate IPA symbols perform songs in English Italian German and/or French in a way that demonstrates accurate diction.
