RADR 1366 - Practicum II -Radiologic Technology/Science-Radiographer CIP Code: 51.0911 Credit(s): 3 Practical general workplace training supported by an individualized plan developed by the employer college and student. A health practicum will be an unpaid learning experience. Introduces the day shift clinical environment at a JRCERT recognized clinical facility. Requires rotating through different work areas. Competencies include: production of standard radiographic images of the chest abdomen and upper and lower extremities bony thorax and spine skull and radiographic procedures requiring the administration of contrast media (re: UGI LGI excretory urography etc.) with direct supervision (pre-competency) and with indirect supervision (post-competency); radiographic image evaluation regarding anatomy positioning and technical factors; reading understanding and demonstrating understanding of positioning materials by selecting necessary equipment when producing standard radiographic images on patients (performance evaluations). 1,2,3,4,5,6
