NURS 4457 - Leadership & Management CIP Code: 51.3801 Credit(s): 4 This course explores leadership and management theories, resource allocation, the nurse as a change agent, member of the profession, communication, and quality improvement in the healthcare setting. 1. Synthesize knowledge, skills, and abilities gained from personal experiential learning, prerequisite, and co-requisite courses included in the program of study.
2. Apply leadership and management theories for care delivery in a variety of healthcare settings.
3. Analyze the methodology of resource allocation.
4. Evaluate the role of the nurse as a change agent within the healthcare setting.
