Math 0332 - Contemporary Mathematics CIP Code: 32.01045219 Credit(s): 3 The course supports students in developing skills, strategies and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology. Topics include thestudy of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models and problem solving. A study of relations and functions inequalities, algebraic expressions and equations (absolute value, polynomial, radical, rational), with special emphasis on linear and quadratic expressions and equations.
