OHSM 4314 - Industrial Hygiene

A study of industrial hygiene and workers’ health concerning various industries. The course focuses on managing workplace chemical, physical, biological, radiological, and ergonomic factors through anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of health hazards. This course includes training on anticipating, recognizing, and controll ing occupational health hazards through sample collection and evaluation. The Industrial Hygiene course is the capstone to the Occupational Health and Safety program and includes an undergraduate research project.
